Description:

STEM-CELLBANKER® is a chemically defined freezing solution with optimized formulation for stem cells and iPS cells storage as well as other valuable cells. Furthermore, recent data supports it’s ability of cryopreservation for tissues. It is completely free of serum and animal derived component, and contains only USP, EP or JP graded ingredients. It is ready-to-use with simple protocol while provides a safer and promising cryopreservation of stem cells and iPS cells.
STEM-CELLBANKER® GMP grade is manufactured in compliance with JPN, EU, US, and PIC/S GMP guidelines.

Description:

STEM-CELLBANKER® DMSO Free GMP grade is a chemically defined freezing solution that does not contain DMSO as an anti-freezing agent. It was developed for customers who do not prefer to use DMSO-containing cryopreservation solution due to a variety of their intended uses. STEM-CELLBANKER® DMSO Free GMP grade is also manufactured in compliance with JPN, EU, US, and PIC/S GMP guidelines.
It is expected that the range of choices for a user is extended with a series of CELLBANKERs.

Description:

STEM-CELLBANKER® EX GMP grade (SCB EX) is a cell cryopreservation solution that expands the possibilities of cell therapy. SCB EX is a simple composition and composed of ingredients that are proven in intravenous injections. It is a DMSO-containing cryopreservation solution and a Xeno-Free product formulated serum free and animal component free. SCB EX can also preserve human hematopoietic stem cells and human adipose-derived stromal/stem cells. SCB EX is manufactured in compliance with JPN, EU, US, and PIC/S GMP guidelines. All operations that expose the product to the environment are conducted in a Grade A area to ensure sterility.

※The composition of this product is the same as HSC-BANKER® GMP grade.

HSC-BANKER GMP grade  

Description:

HSC-BANKER® GMP grade is an optimized cryopreservation medium for hematopoietic stem cells.

It is a ready-to-use product and has been reported that the cryopreservation outcomes of HSC-BANKERR® is at least equivalent to those of the conventional protocol using DMSO and DEXTRAN.

The results of a comparative study on the cryopreservation of the hematopoietic stem cells perfomed the Cord Blood Bank of the Japanese Red Cross Society.

Freezing:

For optimum results, cells for cryopreservation should be in log phase of growth. Similar or standard freezing protocols may be substituted.

Examine and make sure the cell culture free of contamination, in healthy situation and proper confluency, etc.

Perform a cell count to determine the viability of cells.

Gently pellet the cells centrifugation (3 – 5 minutes at 1,000~2,000rpm, 4℃). Remove the supernatant using a aspirator.

Gently suspend the cells with CELLBANKER® cryopreservation medium (1ml) for 5×105 – 5×106 cells.

Dispense the cell suspension in 1ml aliquots to cryopreservation vials that have been labeled with the cell line name, cell concentration, passage date and other essential information.

Place the vials directly in a -80℃ for storage.

If necessary, transfer the frozen vials to a liquid nitrogen storage tank after the vials have been frozen for at least 24 hours.
